Hours of Operation
Our hours of operation will reflect community needs and be developed in conjunction with budgetary constraints
Most locations open from 6am - 9am and 3pm - 6.30pm, depending on the needs of the individual families utilizing the service
The parent or guardian who makes the initial bookings for care will be responsible for payment of the fees.
Permanent bookings incure a lower fee rate than casual bookings.
Vacation care fees are set at a daily rate and include all excursions.
We accept cash, cheque and direct deposit.
Fees are paid one week in advance and due Friday mornings. Fees are not accepted Friday afternoons to avoid having money left on premises over the weekend.
Our services operate 49 weeks of the year. Fees remain payable even when there is a public holiday or the child is absent through illness, holidays or for any other reason, however, fees are not charged when the Centre is closed over the Christmas break.
Fee arrears— the nominated manager has the authority to terminate an enrolment at the centre if fees remain outstanding for 2 weeks or more and no agreement is in place
Placements—may be terminated when an enrolled child is absent from the centre for two weeks or more and no written notice is given
Continual or habitual lateness in fee payment could also jeopardize the child’s placement
Changing days—if we have a vacancy on an additional day that is required, there is no ability to “swap” days.
